Renavari Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 12, 2026
Last updated: May 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Renavari ("we," "us," or "the app") handles information when you use the Renavari mobile application or website. It applies to Renavari on iOS and any future platforms unless a separate policy is published for that platform.
1. The short version
- We do not collect, transmit, store, or share your health data. Everything you log — biomarkers, lab results, peptide doses, protocols, notes — stays on your device.
- We do not require an account. You can use Renavari without ever signing in, creating a profile, or providing an email address.
- We do not run analytics, ad networks, or third-party trackers in the app.
- The only personal data Apple will see is what's required for App Store billing if you subscribe to Renavari Plus. We never see your name, email, or payment details — Apple does.
2. What data Renavari stores
The following data, if you choose to enter it, is stored only in your device's local browser/app storage (IndexedDB and localStorage on iOS WKWebView):
- Biomarker values you enter from your lab results
- Peptide names, doses, schedules, and cycle history
- Protocol entries, supplement logs, fasting windows
- Notes you write about your protocols or results
- App preferences (dark mode, units, etc.)
This data is never sent to a Renavari server. Renavari does not operate a backend server that receives, stores, or processes user health data. The export feature inside the app writes a JSON file to your device or photo library — at your initiative, under your control.
3. What Renavari does not collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email, phone number, or postal address
- Your IP address, device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV), or advertising ID
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, calendar, or microphone (unless you explicitly grant permission to import a lab PDF or photo, in which case the imported file stays on-device)
- Your browsing or usage analytics within the app
- Crash reports — we currently do not run a crash reporting SDK; this may change in a future version, and if so this policy will be updated and you will be notified in-app before any new data category is collected
4. Subscriptions and Apple billing
If you subscribe to Renavari Plus, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. Renavari receives a verification receipt that the subscription is active — that receipt contains a transaction ID and product ID, not your name, email, or payment method.
We use RevenueCat to validate that receipt. RevenueCat receives the transaction ID and product ID only. RevenueCat does not receive your health data, lab results, or any personal information beyond what Apple provides for subscription validation. RevenueCat's privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
5. iOS permissions Renavari may request
When relevant, Renavari may ask you for the following permissions. You can deny any of them and the app will continue to function (with the related feature disabled).
| Permission | Why | What we do with the data |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Scan lab result PDFs or barcodes | The image is processed on-device. Nothing is uploaded. |
| Photo Library (read) | Import existing lab result images you've saved | The image is processed on-device. Nothing is uploaded. |
| Photo Library (write) | Save your exported reports and chart screenshots | We save to your library at your request. |
| Face ID / Touch ID | Lock the app behind biometric authentication | Apple handles biometric verification entirely on-device. Renavari never sees your biometric data. |
6. Data export and deletion
- Export: Settings → Export Data. Writes a JSON file containing everything you've logged. The file goes to your device or share sheet — you control where.
- Delete all data: Settings → Delete All Data. Requires typing "DELETE" to confirm. This wipes the app's local database. We do not retain a copy anywhere — there is no copy elsewhere to retain.
- Uninstall: Removing the app from your iPhone removes all Renavari data with it.
7. Children's privacy
Renavari is rated 17+ and is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any data from children, and because we do not collect data from anyone, this is structurally impossible. If you believe a child under 18 has used Renavari, no action is needed on our end — there is no account or data to delete.
8. Health data and HealthKit
Renavari does not currently read from or write to Apple HealthKit. A future version may offer optional HealthKit integration for importing weight, glucose, and other metrics. If we add HealthKit integration:
- It will be opt-in. You will explicitly grant access in iOS Settings.
- Any HealthKit data imported into Renavari stays on your device under the same terms as the rest of your Renavari data.
- We will never sell, share, or transmit HealthKit data — Apple's HealthKit terms prohibit this and we agree with that prohibition.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy, we will:
1. Update the "Last updated" date at the top.
2. Show an in-app notice the next time you open Renavari requiring you to acknowledge the change.
3. Never apply changes retroactively to data already collected (since we collect none, this is automatic).
10. Your rights under GDPR / CCPA
Because Renavari does not collect personal data, most data-subject rights (access, deletion, portability, opt-out of sale) are satisfied structurally — there is no data to access, delete, port, or sell.
- Right to access: All data lives on your device. Settings → Export Data gives you a complete copy.
- Right to deletion: Settings → Delete All Data, or uninstall the app.
- Right to opt-out of sale: We do not sell data. Ever.
- Right to non-discrimination: Free tier users receive identical privacy treatment to paid subscribers.
